Authentic Japanese Natural Whetstone from Ōhira, Kyoto.

This rare Tokkyū Ōhira Uchigumori is a high-quality finishing stone featuring subtle Renge (lotus flower) patterns and a clean, suji-free sharpening surface. Traditionally used in the final stages of Japanese sword polishing, Uchigumori is also highly regarded for sharpening kitchen knives, chisels, plane blades, razors, and other precision edge tools.

Its slightly hard, fine-grained structure produces a delicate pink slurry, creating a beautiful hazy kasumi finish while enhancing hamon contrast. The smooth sharpening feedback and excellent polishing performance make it a favorite among professional sharpeners.
