An authentic Japanese Whetstone (Natural Whetstone) from the prestigious Shohonyama region in Kyoto — long renowned for producing Japan’s finest Finishing Stones.
This Rare Stone Tokkyū (Special Grade) Tomae is a hard Sharpening Stone with an extremely fine abrasive structure and a flawless No-Suji (line-free) surface.

It delivers powerful polishing performance while maintaining smooth and controlled feedback, creating a brilliant and refined finish on high-carbon steels.
The surface is fully lapped and ready to use, with the back and sides sealed using Ishisan (water-based protective sealant) for long-term durability and preservation.
