Natural Whetstone White Suita 1575g | Made in Japan, Kyoto, Shohonyama
A beautiful white Suita whetstone from the Shohonyama region of Kyoto, Japan.
Medium-hard in feel, this stone provides a smooth sharpening response and produces a refined kasumi-style finish with a soft, controllable slurry.
Please note:
Due to the natural structure of this stone, a thin layer around the first 5 mm of use may show minor layer separation.
Once past that thin layer, the whetstone sharpens normally with no negative effect on performance.
Because of this natural characteristic, the price is set slightly lower than the typical market value.
