This Karasu Awasedo features bold Karasu (crow) patterns on a soft cloudy base. Its soft structure produces rich slurry, smooth sharpening feedback, and a beautiful kasumi finish. Natural suji (mineral lines) are present but do not affect sharpening performance.
This extra-thick 30-Kiri stone has been professionally lapped on both sides, allowing either surface to be used while providing excellent durability for long-term sharpening.
