This authentic Ōhira Kanmaki Suita comes from the legendary Ōhira Mine in Kyoto, Japan. This extra-thick 24-Kiri finishing stone features the distinctive Kanmaki pattern and a medium-textured abrasive structure with an excellent balance of cutting speed and polishing performance. Natural suji are present but completely harmless, allowing the stone to deliver smooth sharpening feedback, refined edge control, and a beautiful kasumi finish. It is suitable for the final sharpening of a wide variety of edged tools.
