An authentic, extra-thick Tokkyū (Special Grade) Uchigumori natural whetstone from the legendary Ōhira Mine in Kyoto, Japan.

Ōhira Uchigumori stones are highly revered and have traditionally been used in the final stages of Japanese sword polishing. Being slightly harder than typical Uchigumori, this particular stone offers both exceptional polishing power and a highly refined finish.
It produces a flawless, misty Kasumi finish that beautifully highlights the Hamon (temper line) and Jihada (forged steel grain pattern).
