This authentic Ōhira Uchigumori comes from the legendary Ōhira Mine in Kyoto, Japan. This extra-thick 24-Kiri specimen is exceptionally large, and Ōhira Uchigumori stones of this size are extremely rare. Traditionally used for the final stages of Japanese sword polishing, it offers excellent polishing performance, smooth sharpening feedback, and a beautiful misty kasumi finish. It is suitable for the final sharpening of a wide variety of edged tools.
