Authentic Japanese Natural Whetstone from Shohonyama, Kyoto
An authentic Sō-Renge Suita from the Shohonyama region. Full renge (lotus-flower) patterning covers the surface, giving the stone both aesthetic refinement and collector appeal. Soft, producing slurry easily with smooth, controlled feedback and a misty kasumi finish. Natural suji are present but don't affect performance. Great for kitchen knives, chisels, and plane blades.
