This Renge Suita (蓮華巣板) displays graceful lotus-flower patterns and embodies the signature soft, smooth sharpening feel for which Ōhira Suita are renowned.
Soft in hardness, it provides gentle and stable feedback while generating a fine kasumi (misty) finish—ideal for kitchen knives, chisels, plane blades, and razors.
A rare and charming feature of this stone is its subtle natural fragrance that emerges when raising slurry—an elegant trait valued by collectors and professional sharpeners alike.
