This authentic Sō-Renge Suita comes from the historic Shōhonyama region of Kyoto, Japan. Distinguished by beautiful full-surface Renge patterns, this soft finishing stone produces rich slurry with ease and delivers exceptionally smooth sharpening feedback. Its forgiving sharpening characteristics provide excellent edge refinement and a beautiful kasumi finish, making it an enjoyable stone for regular use. Minimal natural suji are present but do not affect sharpening performance. It is suitable for the final sharpening of a wide variety of edged tools.
