This is a Shohonzan-class Japanese natural finishing stone (Awasedo), quarried in Kyoto and cut into a 三十切抜 (#30 trimmed) format. It weighs 1175g and measures 210×72×34mm.
This soft Tenjō Suita features a beautiful hazy white surface with golden renge (lotus blossom) patterns subtly drifting across the face. These golden inclusions are highly prized for their visual elegance and rarity.
With its soft texture and low resistance, it is ideal for fine sharpening of kitchen knives, razors, and delicate tools. The stone has been lapped and is ready to use. Suji (lines) are minimal and do not affect usability.
