【A Personal History】
About 25 years ago, when I was an apprentice carpenter in Japan, this "Gumi-handled Kitsune" set was the ultimate object of desire. Back then, it was a "dream tool" far beyond my reach—a symbol of reaching the level of a master craftsman. I eventually acquired this set but have preserved it carefully as a treasure ever since.
