This is a vintage 10-piece Japanese Oire Nomi (bench chisel) set by Minamoto Nobusada, crafted in Japan during the Showa era.
This complete set features traditional Japanese laminated steel construction, combining hard steel with soft iron for excellent edge retention and ease of sharpening. Each chisel is fitted with a Shirogashi (Japanese white oak) handle and a Honba-sharpened blade.
The chisels remain unused and have been carefully preserved as long-term vintage deadstock in their original labeled box. The Katsura hoops remain unset and unstruck, preserving their original condition.
